At CAFY’s Legal Clinic, our mission is to provide transformative civil legal services to low-income Prince George’s County residents. We connect our clients with experienced volunteer attorneys and other community partners to ensure that delivery of justice is accessible to all, regardless of financial status.

The legal clinic was established in 2015 to address a clear, unmet need in our community: access to civil legal services for victims of crime. After a crime is committed, many victims experience a cascade of life changes that require legal assistance, including divorce, child custody, housing and immigration issues. Our clinic provides free, high quality legal services to address these matters and help our clients achieve stability for themselves and their families.
