About

 CAFY Counseling Center works to intervene, identify and discuss therapeutic services to support children, adults, couples, and families in need of trauma-informed therapy.  She educates survivors on the benefits of intervention to those in need of crisis support.  Currently working as a Medical Technician for Capitol Digestive Care Surgical Offices where she is responsible for surgical scheduling and preparation for hundreds of patients monthly. She holds an Associates Degree from Sanford Brown College and certification as a surgical certification coordinator.  She has worked in the medical field for over ten years serving those who are experiencing life transitions caused by medical issues. Lindsay brings to CAFY a compassion to work with those experiencing crisis and trauma. Prior to her becoming a Crisis Intervention Specialist she volunteered at CAFY doing outreach and used her medical skills to offer process improvement to clinical records management, documentation, software, screening, billing and audit readiness processes.  Lindsay's passion helps her find solutions for those seeking services through mental health.
