POSTPONED: What is Love? Benefit Concert

Love is on the way!

Come enjoy great music while
supporting a great cause on March 27, 2020!

Community Advocates for Family & Youth (CAFY) will be celebrating 17 years of victim services and supporting those harmed, affected, or impacted by crime. The support CAFY receives from community partners makes it possible to continue to provide support services such as court companionship, crisis counseling, pro-bono legal services and so much more. We believe we are making each person we touch #STRONGERNOW.

For CAFY’s 17th annual gala, CAFY will host a Benefit Concert to showcase the theme “What Is Love” This event will feature tribute performances of some of the greatest love songs from Luther Vandross, and more. The songs performed during this benefit concert will convey what we at CAFY believe are characteristics of a healthy romantic relationship. Sharing the message with our guests that true love is a love that does not hurt.

Guests attending this benefit concert will enjoy the smooth sounds of Luther Re-Lives with William “Smooth” Wardlaw and the melodic tones of Angel Griggs, survivor and songstress. Guests will also be able to mix and mingle over heavy hors d’oeuvres, while bidding on silent auction items. This year, with the help of our guests and the community we hope to raise $10,000 to keep the Safe Haven Fund working to move more children out of the way of violence.

We are creating a romantic mood “If Only for One Night” showing what healthy love can look like.
