Become a CAFY Supporter
How Else Can I Help CAFY?
If you do not have the time available to become a Victim Advocate Volunteer, consider becoming a supporter of Community Advocates for Family & Youth. Supporters of CAFY can contribute on a fixed schedule or project by project basis.
Consider the following opportunities:
Administrative Assistance — Assist office staff with clerical duties, making telephone calls to relay information to volunteers, helping with mailings and photocopying.
Grant Research – Assist staff with research activities, including writing and the identification of funding sources and grant opportunities.
Volunteer Recruitment — Periodically distribute information and ads to facilitate volunteer recruitment drives to local businesses, colleges, community centers, etc. Relay and distribute requested volunteer information. Assist staff in scheduling and participating in community discussions to increase volunteer participation.
Collaboration Awareness – Prepare and distribute CAFY material to local organizations and agencies. Develop and update agency contact information and assist staff in raising the community awareness of CAFY services.
Create Your Own Project — CAFY will gladly consider projects and ideas other than those previously listed.
